Pdx.fm’s Cort and Fatboy are hosting a special preview night of the Kick-Ass movie Thursday, April 15th at 10:00 p.m. at the Roseway Theater at 7729 NE Sandy Blvd. Portland, Oregon.

Not only will viewers catch the film a day early, but the Roseway Theater is home of the finest A/V quality in Portland, and the $7 ticket price is one of the cheapest in town, and if you show up in costume, you get a small soft drink and popcorn, free! And Greg, the owner of the Roseway, pays just as much attention to his popcorn as he does his picture and sound: this isn’t buttered styrofoam kept in a garbage bag under a heat lamp. The corn is fresh and light and widely considered the best in city.

By indulging your inner crazy person like Kick-Ass does, you’ll be rewarded for going out in your jammies by watching a kick-ass film in the most kick-ass theater in Portland, for less than everyone else, a day before everyone else–and get free munchies!

If you’d rather not get suited and booted, it’s okay: you don’t have to wear a costume to attend, you just won’t get any free grub if you show up as a normie. But just tying a towel around your neck and wearing a Superman t-shirt isn’t a costume, either. The movie is called “Kick-Ass,” not “Half-Ass.” Dress accordingly.
